Getting used to Iraq

We'll I've been in Iraq for a couple of weeks now and things are starting to fall into place. I have a room now, which is nice. I'm the 7th LT they have here and its obvious they don't need me here. I'm going to follow around another LT in the operations section and I guess eventually take over. For the last week though I've had the opertunity to go out on CLP (Combat Logistic Patrols). Which pretty much means I drive or ride from point a to point b in a gun truck with a bunch of semi trucks in between. Its better than being in the office so I can't complain.
